Primer festival en Suiza / First festival in Switzerland

'Sombras en el viento' llega a un país más de la vieja Europa. Si hace pocos días teniamos nuestra primera selección en Alemania, hoy hemos sabido que el corto tiene su primera selección en Suiza. El festival Corto Helvetico al Femminile se celebrará en la ciudad de Lugano del 5 al 8 de Marzo.

'Shadows in the wind' arrives to a new old European country . Some days ago we learned that we were selected for the first time in Germany and today we have just known that the short film has achieved its first selection in Switzerland. The festival Corto Helvetico al Femminile takes place at the city of Lugano from the 5th to the 8th of March.

De nuevo en Grecia/ Once again in Greece

Grecia fue el primer país extranjero que visitó 'Sombras en el viento', cuando participó el en Naoussa International Film Festival hace casi un año. Del 6 al 12 del próximo Mayo regresará al país helénico para participar en el Tesalonika LGBT Cultural Panorama, festival de temática gay y lésbica. Lo cual tampoco supone una novedad para el corto.

Greece was the first foreign country 'Shadows in the wind' visited when it participated at the Naoussa International Film Festival almost a year ago. From the 6th to the 12th of May it will return to that country to participate in the 12th Thessaloniki’s lgbti Cultural Panorama, a Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, something that is not new for the short.

Seleccionados en Alemania / Selected in Germany

Acabamos de enterarnos de que estos días el corto está participando en un festival de Berlín, el Directors Lounge Film Festival. Es una noticia que nos alegra mucho, pues Alemania era uno de los paises importantes que se nos resistia.

We have just learned that within these days the short film is participating in a Festival in Berlin called Directors Lounge Film Festival. This piece of news makes us very glad since Germany was one of the important countries that seemed reluctant to select our work.

De nuevo en Italia / Again in Italy

El corto ha sido seleccionado por cuarta vez en un festival italiano. El festival La Tela di Penelope es un pequeño festival que se celebra todos los años en un pueblo de la región de Calabria llamado Castrovillari, en el sur del país. El nombre del festival hace referencia al personaje de la mujer de Ulises en 'La Odisea' de Homero.

The short film has been selected for the fourth time to participate in an Italian festival. La Tela di Penelope is a little film festival that takes place each year at a village called Castrovillari, in the region of Calabria , which is sited in the south part of the country. The festival is named after the character of Ulises's wife, the hero of 'The Odyssey' by Homer.

Seleccionados en Mejico / Selected in Mexico

'Sombras en el viento' llega a un nuevo país en America. El Festival de Cine en el Desierto será el primer festival mejicano en que participe el corto, y se celebrará en Hermosillo, en el desierto de Sonora a finales de este mes.

'Shadows in the Wind' arrives to a new country in America. The Festival de Cine en el Desierto will be the first Mexican festival the short film will be in, and it'll take place in Hermosillo, in the Sonora Desert at the end of this month.

Nueva selección en Turquia / New selection in Turkey

Tras participar el pasado mes de Noviembre en el Istambul International Film Festival, ahora 'Sombras en el viento' visitará la capital Asiática del país, Ankara, para participar en el Ankara International Film Festival, que se celebrará del 11 al 21 de Marzo.

After having attended the Istambul International Film Festival last November, 'Shadows in the wind' will visit this time the Asian capital of the country, Ankara, to participate in the Ankara International Film Festival, that will take place from the 11th to the 21st of March.

Ahora en Carolina del Sur/ Now in South Carolina

Parece que nuestro recorrido por los estados de la Unión es imparable. El octavo que visitará el corto será Carolina del Sur, para participar en el mes de abril en el Charleston Film Festival, en la capital del estado.

It seems that we won't stop touring around the Union States. The eight one the short film will visit will be South Carolina, in order to attend the Charleston Film Festival in April, at the capital of the State.

Un estado más / One more state

Florida será el séptimo estado norteamericano que visite 'Sombras en el viento', tras Nueva York, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Mississippi y California. El Amelia Island Film Festival se celebrará del 25 de Febrero al 5 de Marzo en una isla que está al norte de dicho estado.

Nos coinciden en fechas tres festivales de los Estados Unidos, y el corto viajará de la frontera con Canadá al Golfo de Mejico en tan solo dos semanas. Como movido por el viento...

Florida is the seventh American State visited by 'Shadows in the wind' after New York, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Missisippi and California. The Amelia Island Film Festival will take place between the 25th of February and the 5th of March in an island set in the north of that state.

We will participate in three American film festivals during the same dates, and the short film will travel from the Canadian border to the Gulf of Mexico within just two weeks. As if it was moved by the wind...

Nueva selección el Perú / New selection in Peru

Tras participar hace unos meses en el Festival de Cuzco, 'Sombras en el viento' volverá a ser proyectado en el país de los incas. Estos días se está celebrando el Festival Audiovisual de Lambayeque, festival que hace el número 60 de nuestra lista de selecciones y el 15 al otro lado del charco.

After having participated few months ago in the Festival de Cuzco, 'Shadows in the Wind' will be screened again in the Inca country. The Festival Audiovisual de Lambayaque is taking place during these days. This makes it the festival number 60 in our list and the number 15 from the other side of the Ocean.

Seleccionados en San Francisco/ Selected in San Francisco

Sigue la racha por festivales de Estados Unidos y llegamos a un estado más: California. El corto participará en el San Francisco International Women's Film Festival en el mes de Abril. Nos hace especial ilusión estar en esta ciudad norteamericana, en donde Hitchcock rodó "Vertigo", una de nuestras películas favoritas.

Cada vez estamos un poco más cerca de Los Angeles... y de Hollywood.

We are still on a roll around United States' festivals, and this time we have arrived to a new State: California. The short film will participate in the San Francisco International Women's Film Festival next April. We are specially thrilled with the idea of being in this American city where Hitchcock shot 'Vertigo', one of our favorite films.

We are a little more closer to Los Angeles... and to Hollywood.
